Organizing a Baptism
"You are sealed by the Holy Spirit in baptism and marked as Christ’s own forever"
-D.A Carson
A baptism is an important rite of passage of welcome into the church family. It is a symbol of God's faithfulness to loving us throughout our life, which begins before we are born and lasts beyond our death Baptism is an act of grace, we do not need to pass a test for God to love us, just know that you are welcome in the family of God and here in our church.
Parents and godparents, and congregation members take a vow to support the child (or adult) being baptised in their faith journey - which obviously can be helped greatly by regular attendance at services of worship to help nurture a relationship with God and a relationship with other followers of Christ as role models and friends on the journey.
If you would like to bring your child for baptism in the church, please contact the Minister to arrange a visit to discuss this special event.
