A significant part of the Church's mission and outreach in the local village of Kirkmuirhill and Blackwood, is the Second Chance charity shop which is a non-profit organisation staffed by volunteers.

Due to the position of the Church building on the outskirts of the village, the Second Chance shop gives the Church a very prominent and visable presence at the heart of the local highstreet.

On top of giving your clothing and goods a 'second chance,' the shop also assists a number of charities and supports young people at university and college by providing book vouchers for study.
